CACAHOUETTE DE CHOU EN CAOUTCHOUC

Les amours de choux engendrent parfois de curieux produits. Pour l'heure ce ne sont pas des jumeaux mles que l'on va trouver au coeur de leurs feuilles mais l'exotisme extravagant d'une seule arachide.
Ce volume en trois dimensions ࢩvoque trangement un huit qui aurait tourn sur lui-m驪me deux mondes qui s'entrechoquent, travers la matire ਩lastique, dans un silence suggr.
L'驩vocation se poursuit encore dans cette rencontre entre le choc et le baiser, la tendresse souriante de ce qui s'attire et s'oppose la fois. Le matriau est explicite : il dit ੠ la fois sa solidit et sa souplesse. Cette sculpture pourrait s'crire mais Jack Jeffrey est un sculpteur.

The passions of cabbages sometimes give birth to some curious products. This time its not male twins that we will find in the core of cabbage leaves but the extravagant exotic  character of a single peanut.
This three dimensional mass strangely evokes an eight(8) which has turned on its own two worlds, that bump together through the elastic matter, in an implied silence.
The evocation continues further in this encounter between the collision and the kiss, the tender smirk of that which attracts and repels at the same time. The material is explicit: it speaks at the same time of solidity and pliability. This sculpture could be written but Jack Jeffrey is a sculptor. B.P.
